Lyman Orchards Golf Club opened in 1969. Robert Trent Jones designed a championship golf course which is still the Monday qualifying site for the Buick Championship of the PGA Tour. The course is a player favorite with rolling hills on the front, varying dog legs on the back, and yardage from 6200 yards to over 7000 yards from the championship tees. The astute Jones characteristics make this a golf course you do not want to miss. In 1994 world renowned player and designer, Gary Player, opened the second course at Lyman Orchards. The course winds through trees and natural terrain while being well bunkered throughout. Spectacular views surround you as you experience Connecticut at its best. The par 3s are some the best ever assembled on one golf course. The course is not long at 6600 yards from the championship tees, but is truly a shot maker's golf course.
