The course is designed by Matt Dye, who is one of the best new generation golf course architects. The nephew of famed golf course designer Pete Dye, Matt Dye has an extensive background in golf course architecture and a flair for design that runs in the family! El Rio is highlighted by scenic views of the surrounding mountains, gentle rolling and forgiving fairways, undulating greens, and four holes with water features. The course is a par 72 and offers four sets of tees ranging from 5,300 to 7,100 yards in length to accommodate all playing levels.
